UI / UX Design
UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) are two different design tasks / processes that a web design project undergoes. While UI is mostly concerned with how the interface looks, UX is concerned with functionality, usability, and how the information flows throughout the interface.

Why is UI / UX Design important?
As we all know, the backbone of any Marketing strategy is your website. This makes it all the important that your website is up-to-date, designed with the latest trends in mind, and more importantly, is just what your customers are looking for.
As more customers get used to intuitive browsing over the internet, they might find it extremely difficult to find information that they are looking for in your website if it is not designed with user as a central figure in the design process.
The aim of all our UI / UX design process is to understand what your customers are trying to find out and how best to aid this interaction in a way that is easy and intuitive to your customers.
Our UI / UX design process:
Customer Persona
The first starting point for any UI / UX project is to create a customer persona. Our experienced designers will have an in-depth interview and focus group discussions with you to understand what your product / service is and who your target segments are.
This is important for us to understand as it gives us insights on what kind of information should be in the website and more importantly, how we should organize this information so that it is easily accessible to anyone using the interface.
Website Flow
The next step is to figure out how information will flow through the website.
A few of the questions we ask during this stage include, should customers be sent to look for information, or should they be sent to a landing page for product specific information.
This gives us insights into how many pages the website will need and how we can organize the information so that it is efficient and easy to access.
Content
Unlike many design agencies, we do not use dummy text while designing for web experiences. We believe that working with real content helps us conceptualize the information we want to present in a better way.
We therefore ask you to write sample content for the template pages (or we even write it ourselves) to give us a better sense of what is really to be communicated to your customers in each page.
Design
The next step is to design the interface (web, app, or any other digital interface) with user experience, usability, and functionality as the core aspects of the process.
This step starts from researching trends, best practices, competitors, etc.
Feedback
Once we have developed UI / UX designs for all the template pages, the designs are sent to you for feedback.
Implement & Deliver
Our UI / UX team then implements these feedbacks and the project is delivered to you.
Deliverables can vary according to your needs. While some of our clients have asked us to only deliver PSD files, we have also been asked to deliver HTML / CSS / JS of the designs.
In most of the cases though where we handle the entire website design and development cycle, the designs are handed over to our own development team for the final delivery of the website.
